Tim’s family has farmed in Eastern Nebraska since the 1880s—as late as 1990 using conventional “agribusiness” methods; Tim shifted to organic production 20 years ago. Tim's Nekoda Farm sits on 20 acres between the windswept prairie, about an hour west of Omaha. While small livestock has been kept and will be again, at present Tim focuses his operations on growing a diversity of organic fruit and vegetables. Off the farm, he directs music ministry at an Omaha church, and serves as a life coach.
